Your Guided Group Holiday to Dubrovnik
Join us on this Croatia holiday to see for yourself why Lord Byron decided to name Dubrovnik ‘the Pearl of the Adriatic’. Located in between rugged mountains and a sparkling sea, Dubrovnik boasts stunning architecture, rich history and spectacular views. On this 7-night break, we’ll enjoy guided tours of cultural landmarks, and have time to spend lazy days drinking in the fantastic scenery. Not only will we explore Dubrovnik and its history, but we’ll also take a day trip to the nearby city of Kotor in Montenegro, a UNESCO World Heritage site that’s not to be missed. A full day’s boat trip will take us to the Elaphiti Islands with lunch and entertainment on board. There will also be plenty of free time to enjoy walks along the historic city walls or relax on one of the nearby beaches, with recommendations from your expert guide.

Travel to Croatia
Depart for Dubrovnik
Depart on your direct flight to Dubrovnik, where you will be met by our local representative and transferred to your hotel. Plenty of information will be provided, to help get your holiday up and running!
Half Day Guided Tour of Dubrovnik
Take a half day tour of Dubrovnik with your expert local guide, to learn of the city's remarkable history and discover its important monuments and sites. Entrance to the Franciscan Monastery and City Cathedral are included.
The afternoon can be spent at your leisure. Perhaps you could take the cable car to the top of the Srd Hill where you can take in some breathtaking views of the Old Town. Your guide would be delighted to recommend some other hidden gems for you to discover.
Boat Trip to the Elaphite Islands
After breakfast you will meet your guide who will accompany you on a full day's excursion around the Elaphite Islands. This archipelago is largely unspoilt and is literally named the "Deer Islands' after the Roman Geographer Pliny the Elder mentioned them in his 37 volume Historia Naturalis in the first century AD. You will be served lunch on board and entertainment will be supplied by a traditional Croatian band who will play local music as well as other popular favourites. (Note that in the rare case of unsuitable weather, this excursion may be re-scheduled to a different day).
Free Time in Dubrovnik
Revisit Dubrovnik and explore its pearly streets. There are monasteries, churches and museums to discover, as well as delightful cafes and excellent shops. - Chat with your guide during the previous day's tours and pick up some tips and information on how to make the most of this fabulous location.
Korcula Island or Montenegro (Depending on Season)
Full Day Guided Excursion to Korcula Island
May to August 2021 departures and ALL 2022 departures. Join us today for a full day guided excursion to Korcula island. The day will begin with a pleasant drive along the coast before entering the Peljesac peninsula and continuing the drive through some famous vineyards before reaching the town of Orebic. Here we depart the bus to take a short boat ride across to the island of Korcula where we will experience it’s narrow streets, beautiful churches and magnificent places during a guided walking tour of the old town. Entrance to Abbey treasury is included. You will have some free time after the tour to enjoy lunch and a swim in the beautiful blue waters before transferring back to Orebic for our return coach journey.
Full Day Guided Excursion to Montenegro
September and October 2021 departures only. After breakfast today you will set off for a full day excursion to the neighbouring country of Montenegro. After crossing the border you will travel across the fjord-like bay of Kotor to visit one of two artificial islets off the coast of Perast, Our Lady of the Rocks, and its quaint Roman Catholic Church. Continue on to the pretty coastal town of Kotor, a UNESCO world heritage site - the exotic scenery along the winding coastal road is breathtaking. On arrival your local guide will take you on a tour of the town and the Old Port, with its surrounding fortifications built during the Venetian period. Afterwards, you will have free time for lunch and to explore at your own pace before travelling back to your hotel in Dubrovnik.
At Leisure or Mostar Optional Tour
Explore Dubrovnik at Your Own Pace
Today is free to relax at your hotel and explore your enchanting surroundings at your own pace. Why not enjoy a dip in the clear aquamarine waters of the Adriatic or try some delicious local specialities in one of the many reasonably priced cafes and restaurants or take in some shopping and sightseeing in Dubrovnik's atmospheric Old City.
Mostar Optional Tour
Mostar is a famous historical city in Bosnia and Herzegovina, included in the UNESCO's World Heritage List in 2005. While in Mostar, you can learn more about this old city from your local guide during a tour of the Old town and visit the iconic Stari Most (Old Bridge) which is an elegant single span stone bridge. Mostar is a typical example of East meeting West. After the city tour, you can enjoy some free time to browse the colourful Bazaar for souvenirs to take home. Good walking shoes are advised if you plan on crossing the bridge. Depending on traffic and border crossing, the journey to Mostar will take about 3.5hours, with a toilet/coffee break on the way. Passports are required as you will cross over into Bosnia and Herzegovina. Price: €50/£44 Minimum number required: 12 - tour will not operate if minimum numbers are not reached.
Free Time in Dubrovnik
Spend the last day of your holiday as you please. Why not take a relaxed swim in the clear waters of a nearby cove, and indulge in a leisurely seaside lunch? Ask your guide for some things to see around your area if you would prefer a more active day. Today is your last chance to pick up some local handicrafts to take back home with you.
Time to bid farewell to Dubrovnik. Transfer from your hotel with guide assistance to the airport for your flight home.
