Uncover the best gardens of East Anglia with us. This garden tour is based in the beautiful and historic city of Norwich. Before we travel there, we’ll discover Bressingham Gardens, which has six distinct gardens full of wonderful flora. We’ll visit Hoveton Hall Gardens, located at the cusp of the Norfolk Broads, a lovely 15 acre garden full of various and interesting plants. There will be plenty of free time to explore Norwich, where you can see some of the city highlights such as the Cathedral, Castle or do some shopping in the markets. On a visit to Dale Farm Garden, a finalist in ‘Britain’s Best Gardeners Garden Competition’, we’ll learn more about its 700 plant varieties. Our final stop will be to the award-winning gardens of Beth Chatto, who was considered to be the greatest gardener in the world. Travel with us and be inspired by these wonderful gardens of East Anglia.

Travel to Norwich and Bressingham Gardens
Bressingham Gardens
On arrival in London Stansted airport we will transfer, with our expert guide Rosie Maye, by private coach to Bressingham Gardens where the beautifully landscaped Herbaceous Borders and Island Beds will be in full flower.
Travel to Norwich
Following our visit we continue onwards to Norwich where we check in to our hotel, known to be the oldest in the UK, is centrally located near Norwich Cathedral. We’ll dine as a group in our hotel this evening.
Hoveton Hall Gardens, Felbrigg Hall & The Plantation Garden
Hoveton Hall Gardens
This morning we travel to Hoveton Hall Estate to discover a fifteen-acre garden with both formal planting in the traditional walled garden and informal in the woodland and around the lake.
Felbrigg Hall
This afternoon join us on a visit to Felbrigg Hall, one of the most elegant country houses in East Anglia with its mixture of opulence and homeliness. The decorative and productive walled garden includes double flower borders, vegetable beds, fruit trees and an octagonal dovecote.
The Plantation Garden
Our final visit today is to one of Norwich’s greatest treasures, the Plantation Garden. This 3 acre garden was established over 100 years ago and today is home to a huge gothic fountain, flower beds, lawns, - Italianate terrace, woodland walkways and a Victorian-style greenhouse.
This evening is free to dine in one of Norwich’s many restaurants.

This morning is free to explore Norwich city - perhaps visit the Cathedral or do some shopping!
East Ruston Old Vicarage
After a leisurely morning we depart for a visit to one of the most exciting contemporay, yet in part traditional, privately owned gardens in England – East Ruston Old Vicarage which has only been developed over the past 25 years. Return journey through Walcott on the North Sea. Evening free to dine in one of Norwich’s many restaurants.
Dale Farm Garden and Beth Chatto’s Garden
Dale Farm Garden
This morning we check out of our hotel and start our day with a visit to Dale Farm Gardens. A two acre plant lovers' garden with a large spring-fed pond. Over 1000 plant varieties in exuberantly planted borders with sculptures. Also, gravel, vegetable, nature and waterside gardens.
Beth Chatto’s Garden and Return to Dublin
Next, we travel to visit Beth Chatto's Garden & Nursery. Beth transformed desolate wasteland that was deemed unfit for fruit farming into a series of gardens. The landscape varied dramatically so that each garden within the garden has become an example of working with nature to find the right plants for the right place.
This afternoon we transfer to London Stansted return flight to Dublin.
