    Set sail with us to visit some of the top cities in Europe on this wonderful 10-night Baltics cruise. Before we board the 4 Star Norwegian Dawn, we’ll stay overnight in the colourful city of Stockholm and take a half day guided tour to discover the cities must-see highlights. During our cruise we'll visit eight different countries, each offering their own unique history, culture and attractions. In addition to sightseeing and excursions, this holiday also includes plenty of leisure time to relax on board and avail of the ship’s amenities including an Aqua Park, casino, spa and delicious restaurants and bars.

    Arrive in Stockholm

    Upon arrival in Stockholm, you will be met by our local representative before being transferred to your hotel. After check in you will have the remaindered of the day at leisure to explore Stockholm, sometimes referred to the 'Venice of the North', there is a lot to see and do in Stockholm. With a host of museums and galleries, as well as the charming Gamla Stan (Old Town), there are plenty of places to relax and unwind in this lovely city.

    Stockholm City Tour

    This morning, after breakfast we will check out of our hotel and depart for a Stockholm city tour en route to our cruise. Today we will discover this beautiful city of Stockholm, our tour will be at city hall where the Stockholm’s municipal council meets in Rådssalen, the Council Chamber and the Nobel banquet is held each year. Here we can marvel at the famous Blue Hall and Golden Hall, with is Stockholm’s municipal council meets in Rådssalen, the Council Chamber and the Nobel banquet is held. Our tour will continue across the bridges to one of the largest and best-preserved medieval city centres in Europe, Gamla Stan. The narrow winding cobblestone streets, with their buildings in so many different shades of gold, give Gamla Stan its unique character.

    After our tour of Stockholm, we will transfer directly to Stockholm port to embark our ship for our 9-night cruise. Settle in and get to know the ship as you set sail on the Baltic Sea towards Helsinki.     Explore Helsinki

    This morning we will arrive at Helsinki, you will have the choice to explore Helsinki independently or join an optional excursion. While in Helsinki you will discover the Finnish capital presents a kaleidoscope of romantic, neo-classical, baroque and ultra-modern buildings in a symphony that could have been written by Sibelius himself. Visit the great Upenski Cathedral and the amazing Tempeliaukia church, carved out of rock. Then browse in the colorful market square, where you'll find crafts and produce from villages all over Finland. In the early evening we will set sail for Tallinn.

    Explore Tallinn

    This morning we will discover today’s port of call, Tallinn, Estonia. This compact city offers stunning architecture, an open-air museum and plenty of shopping and sightseeing opportunities. Make sure to take a stroll in the Old Town which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997. In the late afternoon relax on board as we sail to Riga.

    Discover Riga

    Today we have the chance to independently explore the charming city of Riga. Discover the Old Town the remains of the old city walls and the Dome Cathedral. Take a visit to St. Peter's Church as well as taking in panoramic views of Riga canal, Daugava River and the city skyline. This evening, we will sail towards Klaipeda.

    Uncover Klaipeda

    Lets discover Lituania’s third largest city, Klaipeda. Here you can explore this impressive city and visit the St. Mergeles Marijos Taikos Karalienes church tower and walk through Anika square. Alternatively head to the Smiltyne beach to discover the pristine Baltic waters. After a busy day exploring, we will sail towards Gdansk.

    Discover Gdynia & Gdansk

    This morning, we will arrive into Gdynia you will have the option of exploring this beautiful waterfront area or you can continue onto Gdansk and have time to discover the most popular sites this city has to offer, such as the Golden Gate to the Old Town, the Renaissance and Gothic Prison Tower, historic Town Hall, Artus Court and the symbol of Gdańsk, the Neptune fountain! Visit one of the most beautiful streets in Gdańsk, Mariacka Street, where St Mary’s Church stands.

    You will have the afternoon at sea to relax in the spa, catch a show at the theatre, take a dip in the pool or visit one of the ship’s bars to indulge in a cocktail – the choice is yours.

    This morning we will have the option to explore Berlin, one of the most historically rich cities in the world. See the Berlin's most important landmarks such as the Pariser Platz, the Brandenburg gate, the Reichstag, the Berlin Wall or you can visit Checkpoint Charlie. Tonight we will sail towards Hamburg.

    Explore Hamburg

    Today we have the chance to explore Hamburg, the second largest city in Germany, situated on the Elbe River, take some time to uncover what this city has to offer, visit the Elbphilharmonie, a striking concert hall located in the HafenCity quarter, known for its unique architecture and acoustics or visit the Hamburg City Hall and discover the grandiose city hall, a symbol of Hamburg's independence and wealth, featuring ornate architecture and historical rooms. This evening, we will sail to Copenhagen.

    This morning we sail towards the capital of Denmark, Copenhagen, here you will discover this beautiful city with is filled with canals, cobbled squares and copper spires. This is also Scandinavia's most cosmopolitan city, you can find some of Europe's finest shops, museums and cafes.

    Oslo, Norway

    Depart Oslo & Return Home

    It's time to say goodbye to the Norwegian Getaway as you arrive in Oslo. Our guide will meet us at the port and transfer us to Oslo where we will enjoy a Oslo city tour. 

    On this tour we will uncover one of Oslo’s pearls the Vigeland Park, a sprawling sculpture park with hundreds of statues depicting various phases of life, all done by the same sculptor Gustav Vigeland. We will continue our tour onto the Fram Museum telling the story of the Norwegian polar exploration. Here we will see the Artic explorer’s ship and what life was like was like onboard one of the first ventures to reach the north pole. Our tour will continue onto Oslo city centre where we will see the famous sites of the Royal Palace, Parliament Building, City Hall and the fantastic Oslo Opera house. 

    We will have some free time to explore this city or do some last-minute shopping before transferring on to the airport for our flight home.
