We’ll enjoy a guided excursion to Pula to see its most famous sight, the Amphitheatre, also known as the Pula Arena. It was built in the first century BC, around the same time as the Colosseum in Rome, and played home to many gladiator fights. It is thought that when it was originally built, the amphitheatre could hold up to 20,000 spectators and was later used for medieval fairs and military ceremonies.
On our 7-night holiday to Croatia's Adriatic Coast, we’ll take a magical boat trip to the idyllic town of Rovinj and discover why it’s nicknamed "Little Venice” and the “Blue Pearl of the Adriatic.” We’ll visit the historic old town where the architecture dates back to the 18th century and have an opportunity to relax on its charming coast.
