Your Guided Solo Traveller Holiday To Galway, Connemara and The Aran Islands
Join us on an escape to Galway with fellow solo travellers, where we'll discover wild landscapes and ancient culture in the West of Ireland. Before we get to Galway, we'll visit one of the oldest whiskey distilleries in the world, Kilbeggan Whiskey Distillery, and learn more about this craft. We’ll have time to discover the ‘City of Tribes’ before our welcome dinner later that evening. We’ll explore the magnificent Connemara region dominated by the grandiose Twelve Bens mountain range, dotted with lakes and home to the famous Connemara Ponies. We'll also visit wonderful villages like Leenane, Letterfrack and Cong, made famous by the film ‘The Quiet Man’ starring John Wayne. Then to round off our day, we'll take a relaxing cruise on Lough Corrib. We'll uncover Irish history and culture with a guided day trip to Inis Mor, the biggest of The Aran Islands. Galway is perfect for an Irish getaway, as it's full of beautiful scenery, iconic villages and has a fascinating ancient Gaelic culture.
