Guided Excursion to Besalú
Let's uncover more of the undiscovered Costa Brava countryside on a full-day guided excursion. First, we will visit the town of Besalú, travel back in time as we cross its 11th-century crooked bridge. Explore its stoned-walled centre with its cobbled streets and little alleyways filled with interesting shops and restaurants with plenty of hidden corners to discover.
Visit a Catalan Masia
This will help us build our appetite for our next stop, a traditional Catalan Masia, an old farmhouse which has now been converted into a restaurant. Here we will be treated to a traditional Catalan lunch with wine in the heart of the countryside. We will finish the day at the wine and sparkling water producer Vichy Catalan, who is famous for producing sparkling water all over Spain since the 1880s. Here in their beautiful art deco premises, we will have a guided tour to learn about the production of their water and wine and we will finish with a tasting of their “Lambrusco” style sparkling wine, a perfect ending to the day.
