As well as working hard to craft the best possible itineraries for you to enjoy, this year we’re proud to have achieved accreditation with Sustainable Travel Ireland, and more importantly to be working on some inspirational initiatives to ensure that we have a positive impact on the world around us.
From 2024, you will have the opportunity to contribute towards offsetting your travels with 100% of your contributions going directly to sustainable projects with some examples listed below. Plus, for every booking that includes the contribution, we will plant a tree on your behalf with our partners CloudForest.

Travel that’s better for the places we visit
Travel is a joy and a privilege. It brings enormous benefits to each of us as travellers as well as to the destinations we visit, fostering mutual understanding and improving the quality of life especially in emerging destinations. We recognise that alongside all those benefits, travel also has an impact on the planet, and we are committed to playing our part to mitigate that as much as we can. We have partnered with CloudForests to support their work creating forests along Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way.
Supporting Projects
When you book any 2024 holiday you have the opportunity to make a contribution towards carbon offsetting. 100% of your contributions will go directly to support sustainable projects delivering everything from clean water in Cambodia and renewable energy in Brazil to solar energy in India. We would like your support with this important initiative. To make it even more worthwhile, for every contribution you make to these carbon offsetting projects on bookings made this year we will plant a tree in conjunction with our partners at CloudForests.

We want to be honest with our customers and have them feel safe in the knowledge that as a business we are putting together tours we can all be proud of. One of the ways we do this is by ensuring that the places we visit do not negatively impact the local wildlife.
Resourceful
While we realise, that as a travel company we will always be contributing to carbon emissions, we have the resourcefulness to cut back in many other ways. In our office and for those working from home we have a policy in place to measure and reduce energy and waste consumption. This includes leveraging technology to cut down on paper waste.
Expert
We are great at curating magical experiences for our clients. However, what we are not experts at is sustainability. So, we have teamed up with the experts to help us achieve our goal of counteracting the effects of travel on the environment. We also partner with local charities to improve the lives of those around us and so our staff can reach out to the community and give help where it is needed.

Support Our Sustainable Projects
Travel Department support projects around the world, made up of a diverse range of high-quality certified projects, including re-forestation, renewable gas projects and windfarms with the aim of off-setting carbon emissions across the globe. These projects benefit local communities as well as having wider global impact.

We actively discourage our customers to participate in activities that exploit or harm animals, whether they are wild or domesticated animals.
